January, 2009 The Office of Minority Health (OMH) works to improve and protect the health of racial and ethnic minority populations through the development of health policies and programs that eliminate health disparities. The OMH web site offers data and statistics on minority populations, funding opportunities, a list of federal clearinghouses publications, cultural linguistic competence resources, health reports and materials in multiple languages, and a “Knowledge Center” with over 20,000 articles related to minority health.
