Communications

Developing an effective communications strategy is an essential step in realizing Project LAUNCH’s aim of creating a shared vision for young child wellness and implementing practices that make that vision a reality in states, tribes, the District of Columbia, and local communities.

Through a sound and effectively implemented communications strategy, Project LAUNCH grantees can:

  • Inform state and local leaders and other stakeholders about program goals and accomplishments
  • Engage program participants, community members, and other stakeholders in decision making
  • Invite partnerships and collaborations with others who share the Project LAUNCH mission

The Project LAUNCH TA team is available to support Project LAUNCH grantees in developing their communications strategy. We also provide several resources to support your efforts, as described here below.

Project LAUNCH Marketing Materials

There is power in having a program with a strong brand identity. What will you communicate about the importance of Project LAUNCH? What language will you use? What visual images will you use?

Communications Toolkit

Each state, tribe, and community has a unique Project LAUNCH story to tell. Your vision, goals, approach, successes, and challenges should be shared with important audiences from the very beginning. The Project LAUNCH TA Team has created a self-guided communications toolkit to help you tell your story.
