Patricia Fahey

Ms. Fahey is a team leader on the Project LAUNCH Technical Assistance Team. She has many years of experience leading complex training and technical assistance (T/TA) initiatives that improve the quality of service to young children. An organizational development specialist, she uses management best practices to develop strategies that enhance programs’ and staff performance. Until recently, she directed EDC’s Healthy Child Care Consultant Network Support Center, funded by the federal Maternal and Child Health Bureau. She also led an EDC team that developed a performance-based assessment system for Head Start staff; Project SOLAR, now featured on Head Start’s Early Childhood Learning and Knowledge Center Web site, helps managers develop their staff through T/TA initiatives. Ms. Fahey holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Pittsburgh’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs.
