Federal and Other Partners

Collaboration is a hallmark of Project LAUNCH. To design and carry out a program that truly models and encourages the types of partnerships needed at all levels, SAMHSA works closely with a number of federal partners. It also collaborates with a variety of non-governmental partners. Just as LAUNCH responds for SAMHSA’s mission and goals, Project LAUNCH partners view the program as a vehicle supporting their own charge for promoting child wellness.

Federal Partners

Administration for Children & Families (ACF)

In addition to providing ongoing guidance and support to the LAUNCH federal team, ACF funds and oversees the LAUNCH Cross-site Evaluation. Learn more about ACF programs that provide family assistance, child support, child care, Head Start, child welfare, and other programs related to children and families. Visit ACF's Early Childhood Web site for a list of Head Start Collaboration Offices.

Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA)

Project LAUNCH programs must build upon existing child-serving systems including the Early Childhood Comprehensive Systems (ECCS) grants funded through HRSA’s Maternal and Child Health Bureau. Visit HRSA’s ECCS Web site for a list of state ECCS contacts.

Centers for Disease Control (CDC)
